My cue for non-foxtrot figures is “Hover to Semi Misnomer as there is very little turning for man. I will cue it as "Hover Telemark." In non-foxtrot figure version, I will cue it as "Hover to Semi."
Hover Telemark: Starts Closed Pos, LOD/bjo, LEAD ft free.
MAN: (1) Step L ft fwd twd the wall. (2) Step side w/ R while turning to Semi. (3) brush L next to R, then step fwd L in Semi (fcg/into diag LOD).
WOMAN: (1) Step bk on R into a RF heel turn. (2) close L ft. (3) step fwd R into Semi fcg diag LOD. Just do a “back hitch” using heel turn while opening/turning into Semi.

Natural and Reverse Figures

(THIS DANCE ONLY, because start position in Semi means less turning for woman)
Half Natural Turn: Starts w/ TRAILING foot free, in SEMI fcg diag LOD/wall.
Man: (1) Step fwd R (turning RF twds wall and preparing to swing around lady). (2) Step side/bk with L down LOD while continuing RF turn. (3) Step bk into LOD w/ R ft on 3rd step. (Man's part is pretty much the first half of normal Natural turn.)
Woman: Like 3 fwd steps traveling down LOD while man does his thing (already in Semi so not so much turning).

(Full) Natural Turn: Clockwise rotation. (Starting PU pos, TRAIL ft free) 2 meas figure. Basically, man & lady exchange measures for the full figure, except man does NOT do heel turn.
Man: 1st meas: (From PU pos fcg LOD) (1) step fwd R/trail ft down LOD (turning twds wall, lady on outside). (2) Side L (down LOD, continuing turn). (3) Bkup R down LOD.
2nd meas: (now backing down LOD) Step (1) bk L (diag LOD/wall, fcg ctr, lady on inside) w/ small side step (instead of heel turn). (2) Close R. (3) Fwd L down LOD (as man steps bk into LOD).
Woman: 1st meas: (From PU pos backing down LOD) (1) Step bk L/trail ft (backing into wall, fcg ctr, man on inside) w/ L heel turn. (2) Close R. (3) Fwd L (toe-heel) down LOD (as man steps bk into LOD).

How to Remember “Reverse” vs. “Natural”
Lady’s Mnemonic: Reverse starts w/ heel turn on R. NaturaL starts w/ heel turn on L.
Man’s Mnemonic: Reverse Left Center. Men Naturally turn Right into the Wall.
