I came across the video below posted on the Education Forum site. It is valuable, because for the first time, I have the actual audio recording of Doug Weldon's interview with Ford Motor Company employee George Whitaker, who saw the windshield with its through-and-through hole when the limousine was taken to the Dearborn plant a few days after the assassination to be refurbished. This original windshield was "destroyed" after it was used to create a template for a new windshield, and in fact, several new windshields were made in order to put a "crack" into one (instead of the original through-and-through hole). The whole thing is worth a view. The George Whitaker audio portion starts at about 2:30.
